Overview

The EdHat HND Level 5 in Psychology is designed to provide opportunities for learners to apply their knowledge and practical skills in organisation or workplace with academic prospects. This course is strategically designed to provide progression into employment on achieving the EdHat HND Level 5 in psychology award or following further study to degree level.

Entry Requirements

Programmes of EdHat Higher National Diploma are designed particularly for those students who have recently been in education with an entry profile as follows:

  • Relevant NQF Level 3 qualifications or An access to Higher Education certificate awarded by an approved Further Education institution or equivalent.
  • Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) which gives recognition to knowledge and skills developed through different types of experience, such as work and voluntary activities. Mature students may present a more varied profile of achievement that is likely to include extensive work experience.
